A weekly routine for checking page visibility

Keeping track of where your pages stand in search is easier when the data is in one place. Over the past months I have been comparing a few different approaches to monitoring backlinks, content freshness and indexation, and the most useful habit turned out to be a simple weekly review. You look at which pages gained impressions, which lost them, and which never appeared at all. For the last group, the usual cause is that nothing links to them. One tool I tried for this is PromoPilot, which focuses on finding underrated pages and helping them get discovered. Whatever you use, the principle is the same: measure first, then build links to the pages that deserve more attention, and re-check after a few weeks instead of every day. Patience beats panic in this kind of work, and a small notebook of what you changed and when is worth more than any dashboard.

A short checklist helps: confirm the page is indexable, make sure internal links point to it, add a couple of relevant external references, and watch the trend over a month.
